The Ministerial Meeting of the Signatory Countries to the 1993 Memorandum of Understanding on Drug Control in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar

On 9^th May 2013, H.E. Pol.Gen.PrachaPromnog,  Minister of Justice of Thailand,led the Thai Delegation to attend the Ministerial Meeting of the Signatory Countries to the 1993 Memorandum of Understanding on Drug Control in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar, together with the Ministers and delegations from Cambodia, China, Laos, Myanmar,Vietnam and Representatives from UNODC. H.E. Mr. PisanuSuvanajata, Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar, also participated in the meeting.  On 8^th May 2013, the Minister of Justice of Thailand together with Ministers and Heads of other Delegations paid a courtesy call on H.E. UThienSein, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, at President House in Nay Pyi Taw

During the meeting, the Minister of Justice of Thailand and other heads of delegations signed the Nay PyiTaw Declaration,which declares the extension of the Sub-regional Action Plan on Drug control.
