On 4-6 April 2013, Dr. Chaiyong Satjipanon, Ambassador of Thailand to
the United States, visited the State of Utah upon the invitation of
Brigham Young University (BYU). During the visit, the Ambassador met
with Mr. Gary R. Herbert, Governor of Utah, to discuss how to further
enhance the relationship between Thailand and the State of Utah. He
also gave lectures on “Thailand in Perspective” at BYU and the
University of Utah, as well as observed a rehearsal of the BYU cultural
Young Ambassadors. In addition, the Ambassador delivered a speech about
Thailand’s economic and trade potentials at the Salt Lake City Chamber
of Commerce
